Hello, we are Milo and Michelle McGarry, from Vancouver, Canada. We are the proud owners of two vacation rentals in Papakea Resort, E106 and B208. Our properties are located on the beautiful Kaanapali Beach on the west coast of Maui. Our approach has always been to offer our guests the same thing that we expect when travelling, a clean and fully stocked vacation rental. We work hard to go beyond your expectations. We take great pride in our condos and we think it shows. Whether it’s installing improvements like the new plantation shutters, stainless steel appliances, frameless glass shower doors or simply making sure we have all right kitchen implements, we are always trying to make our properties better.

Like most frequent visitors to the islands, we fell in love with Maui. In 2013 we decided to take the giant leap of purchasing our first vacation rental. During our first visit to the condo in December 2013, we set out cleaning, improving, replacing and polishing everything we could. Luckily we had success right away. Our guests seemed to really appreciate the extra effort we put in. We purchased our second Papakea property in 2018.

When in Maui, we like to spend our time snorkelling at Airport Beach, taking morning walks along Kaanapali Beach and driving the island in search of new adventures. Being able to visit Maui has been a great joy for us. Over the years we have come to know and love this island paradise with our two daughters and we are so grateful to have a second home here.

Our Papakea Vacation Rental Story

We are Milo and Michelle McGarry. It all started in August of 1989 on our honeymoon when we fell in love with Hawaii. Little did we know that this island paradise would become a 2nd home for us. As we visited Maui more often, we realized that we wanted to own and operate our own vacation rentals on Maui, the perfect family vacation destination.

Having experience with renting vacation rentals on various online platforms, we knew that the actual experience sometimes did not match the advertisement. After a lot of research, scoping out the best locations on Maui and eventually settled on Papakea Resort on Kaanapali Beach. Kaanapali offers so much for visitors to Maui, beautiful beaches, great restaurants, awesome snorkeling, awesome walking trails and of course, Papakea Resort.

We Took The Plunge And We Are So Glad We Did

In November 2013 we purchased our first vacation rental, E106. We immediately set about improving the space, replacing all the furniture and appliances, artwork and knick knacks. On our first visit, we spent hours painting, scrubbing and cleaning averything. Eventually we had a fabulous vacation rental that we were truly proud of.

In 2018 we acquired our newest vacation rental, B208 at Papakea Resort. This fabulously updated vacation rental is beautifully situated to take in the wonderful ocean views and breezes. We take pride in how our vacation rentals look and feel and have selected furnishings and decor that make the most of Maui’s natural beauty. Our #1 goal is that our vacation rentals in Paradise are a highlight of our guests stay on this beautiful island.
